In the span of a century, entire countries rise and fall, cultures evolve, fashions transform. Yet some have endured.
There are those who still prevail and even prosper.
One such icon, Ireland’s oldest Céilí Band, was born a century ago in the tiny village of Kilfenora.

On Sunday afternoon, there will be an attempt to create the largest céilí band ever for the Guinness Book of Records. Everyone is invited to bring an instrument and play along with the Kilfenora Céilí Band. (Registration from 13.30, followed by a practice, and then the actual attempt (14.30).
